Tara had decided on South Thystys, since most of the major mages met up down there once every so often. While she knew that mages weren't wholly evil, she still didn't like how they unnaturally bent the elements, twisting them to their design. Thankfully, her travels weren't as easily tiring as if she had been on foot. Her exoskeleton ensured that she did not tire too easily and that she was not quickly identified as Foreborn. Hopefully these new clothes she bought for in town would hold up under the stress of the walking apparatus. There had been… issues before. Attracting attention was not her aim. She thought about how happy she had been to adventure to the outside town for the first time, and how when she came back… Tara closed her yes and shook her head. This was why they were a secret to prevent the perversion of their technology. There were rules to be upheld, after all. The lesser races couldn't handle having superior technology so quickly. They had seen it before, and it never ended pretty. With a deep breath she kept walking, her footsteps a little too quiet for her taste, which could give her away when she reached the city. Then again, most cities she had visited so far were full of dull humans. Boring and dull-witted as they may be, they still noticed the ears and rings upon said ears, and usually thought her an elf. Elves were either stuck up or nothing more than animals according to the elders, and who was she to disagree? She could see why most Foreborn never left home, the cities were simply too had to live in, and the air too clogged with foul smells of magic and other waste.

The man smirked when the other dragon called him a dog. Dog? If he was a dog then what would the other dragon be? "My name is Vulstrunronaaz. But in my human shape you may call me Talbot." He told the male. He seemed strange; he hadn't seen a dragon with white eyes before. "You call me a hound, but what does that make you? Truly I am the strongest. You follow that girl around with your tail between your legs." He glanced to the side. The people were growing uneasy because of their confrontation.

((Don't forget about Bella, Eb.))
Charlie was working the inn at South Thystys for the time being. He was the man up front since he had a friendly demeanor and a nice face. At least the owner thought so, and she was a bit hands-y. But in his boredom he kicked his feet up on the counter and set his hands behind his head and whistled a tune. It was a slow day and they were mostly empty, so there wasn't much to do. His crossbow and sword lay under the counter and his knife was fashioned to his belt. Part of growing up in nobility was learning how to hunt and defend yourself, so he was confident in his ability to keep the bandits from attacking the sleepy little inn, but all he had to deal with was the occasional drunk. Soon he would skip town and be on his way. Maybe head South? The farther he went, the more he had to work to secure supplies.

Bella walked through a desolate forest, one that gave her chills and made her shudder. She wasn't easily frightened, but the forest was terrifying. Her green eyes flicked everywhere as she tried to make heads or tails of the place. She knew that she shouldn't have gone into the forest. Where the hell was she anyway? It had been so long since she began to run from the anti mage group... They wanted her head on a silver platter. She shuddered again, rubbing her arms. An arrow flew out of nowhere, embedding itself in her chest. It narrowly missed her heart, but it still hurt like hell. Screaming, she staggered back and bumped into a form. She turned to see a hooded man in mail, smirking over her. The blood was flowing faster and faster, and she raised her trembling hands to attempt a spell. But it was too late. A whip cracked across the air and wrapped around her wrists, tying them together in an instant. It was then that Bella fell to the floor, screaming in anger and pain and fear, thrashing about like an animal.

Mika, Rusty and Thomas were traveling through the woods, having sailed North into elf-country, were on their way to Vardendale. Mika was atop Rusty's shoulder, a favorite perch when she was indisposed, and was skimming over a map. "If we continue at this pace we'll cross the border in two days." She told Thomas, happily. "Oh I can't wait. I haven't seen an elf before. Well of course I've seen myself but not a woodland elf. Have you seen one before, Thomas? Oh! Maybe we'll meet dwarves!" Dwarves were fascinating little creatures, she'd been told. They made great metal stuff. Maybe they'd teach her a few things! Suddenly Rusty stopped in his tracks and let Mika down. "What's up, buddy?" She asked. The Golem raised a finger to where his mouth would be and pointed down the trail and into the brush. They were just far enough to tell that the one was being attacked. It was blatantly obvious. Before Mika could muster a plan, Rusty was in action. The ten-foot beast took to a run at the assailant. As he got closer he saw the woman was injured and he made up his mind. As soon as he was in reach he snatched the man off the ground and pressed him against a tree, nearly ripping the plant out of the ground in the process. Mika came up behind, having to full sprint to catch up and paid more heed to the woman. "Thomas! Do you know any healing magic!?" Even if she could summon a burst she didn't know anything about healing. Mika recognized a cross on the man's clothing and said, "Rusty, he's a mage-hunter." Suddenly there was a man-shaped indent in the ground, filled with a corpse. Rusty was of course in favor of magic, and sought to defend it, since he was a magical being. He was sworn to protect Mika, but when she was safe, he had other allegiances. Mika cut the whip off the woman's hands and her ears flattened, much like a dog's might. "Don't bleed out on me, alright?"

Alexander | Laatshulsejun
Alexander grinned at Talbot's supposed insult. "At least I don't have to pay her. You are too repulsive for any woman to consent to be with you unpaid." Vulstrunvonaaz, huh? What a pitiful name. I wonder if he knows how charming it makes him seem. Stifling an amused chuckle, he decided to introduce himself. "I am Laatshulsejun, otherwise known as Alexander. Unfortunately, I am quite displeased to be in your company. Please drop the matter. I caused you no harm, Vulstrunvonaaz. Although I would love to set you straight in a gentleman's duel, I am otherwise engaged at the moment. My sworn duty is to serve Queen Kai of Northboro and to advise her." He paused a moment before continuing on, his voice losing the playful, sarcastic tone again. "If you ever rear your ugly head around her again, I swear I will kill you and seal you away forever, scum." Turning to go, he spat over his shoulder and headed back towards the inn that Kai was staying at.
Thomas Hampton
"I have seen elves. While I was walking through here I saw a lot of elves and things. But I was young and haven't seen one for a long time... Never seen a dwarf, but they seem cool. I used to have a buddy who was adopted into a dwarf family and I've seen portraits, but maybe we should go to a dwarf village sometime to meet some." When Rusty suddenly burst into action, Thomas rolled his eyes and followed after the two others at a more leisurely pace. "I do. I know most magics. The only thing is... Erm... That's really a story for another day." Kneeling down near Bella's side, he brushed her hair out of her eyes and touched her forehead. "Okay. I see. Well, at least your wounds are few." Raising his hand high into the air, he muttered a few words. "Please grant me divine power to heal those around me," he mumbled. As he gestured with his hand a bit, a glow surrounded him for an instant and them faded, he smiled. "You and Rusty might feel a little better too, depending on how you were to start with." After looking between them for a bit, he stood and shrugged. As the arrow dissolved into particles of light, Thomas sighed and rubbed the back of his head. "She'll be okay, but probably tired for a bit. This lady is lucky we were passing through. Definitely would have died otherwise."

Vulstrunronaaz snarled as the dragon insulted him back. How dare he?! If he ever caught him flying around, he would skewer him. He pointed at the male, a snarl on his face. His teeth, especially his canines, were beginning to sharpen. His eyes became brighter and brighter as he spoke. "If I see you around here again, I'll make sure the last breath you took at the moment will be your last. " he growled, turning and walking away. A fight here would attract too much attention. He would get that male later. After a meal of course. Burning dragon did nothing for the appetite.
Bella breathed heavily as the golem appeared out of nowhere, a camel eared elf and a mage following. The brunette snarled as she kicked out her back legs, trying to get away from the newcomers. The attacker was dead, and the mage came over to aid her. Her eyes grew wide as the arrow in her chest began to disappear. "Who..." she gasped, winded. "Are you? Camel-Ears, Fatty, and Magey. That's what I'll call..." gasping in sharp pain, she curled up. "Oww. "

Mika straight slapped Bella, ears darting up. "I'd recommend you don't throw slurs around." She snarled. He sat on her rump, legs crossed, glaring. "My name is Mika Barish. This is Rusty. That guy right there is Thomas Hampton." She cooled off a little. She didn't really have to face ignorant people but she figured she might have to grow some thicker skin in this place. "You're welcome, by the way. You can relax, too. We're just travelers. We won't mug you and you can probably guess we aren't here to hunt mages." She smiled, moving on. "What you're name, stranger?"

Bella did not expect the slap. She hissed, sitting up and cradling her cheek. The sudden motion made her chest ache with pain, and she growled, a bit miffed. Her green eyes glowered at the elven woman, at the golem, and then at the mage. "My name's Bella. You don't need to know my last name. It's long and I think it's going to hurt your head." she crossed her arms, wincing again as she felt the pain once more. "Where's the closest city from here? I've been on the run since Balefall." she raised her eyes to the golem. That thing was huge. "I want to get to the city again. I've been in this forest for days."

((I think I'm gonna go and name the province to the right of Vardendale so we have more to work with.))
"Oh hey! We're coming from Balefall now. Though, I suppose you guessed that." Mika said, wiggling her ears. She understood they stood out and desert elves used them to display emotion much like a dog, but she wouldn't be called camel if she had a say. "It's nice to meet you, Bella. Gimme a minute to check my map." She whipped it out and unfurled it with a flick. "Either Nemira or the Thystys', it looks like. We're heading that way if you wanna tag along." She folded the map and stood up, slipping the sheet into her cloak. She offered a hand down to Bella.
