Arryn smiled a bit more. The dragon was pacing to and fro, looking eager to play. She bounced up and down and giggled. "Okay, I'll look for you." she covered her eyes and started to count. "One, two..." she would count to thirty as she did before. Her green eyes remained closed and she smiled more. "Ten, eleven..." she was excited. She would find him... and she would catch him! She would show him...

Hunter smiled and ran off at full speed as soon as she started counting. He wasn't sure where he'd go. But the college was enormous, so he knew he'd find plenty of places to hide. He ran down a hall that was approaching on his left and up some stairs he found later. He crossed through the maze of corridors the college held and up and down numerous spiraling stairs that seemed almost endless. He made his way down a very long set of stairs, it seemed like he had been walking for a long time but he really hadn't. He finally decided to take a shortcut. He spread his wings and jumped down the center which was open and fell down to the bottom before stopping himself safely before hitting the ground. He was in a large corridor, lit with dark blue flames. The stone was black and as smooth as marble. There was an eerie feeling through this area but Hunter was oblivious to it. He walked down the corridor until he came to a large door. He struggled to open the door but managed to open it just enough to step inside. He pulled the door shut behind him and found he was in a very large circular room. It was domed at the top and there were several floors above. Behind columns in the walls was another staircase that spiraled around the room and gave access to the floors above. Unlike everywhere else in the college this place was completely empty, there were no mages and no signs that anyone had been there for centuries. But there was no dust or any signs of age. Hunter walked up the stairs admiring the room. He went to one of the top floors and walked to the edge and looked down on the room as a whole. There were no stones or railings to block the edge and so it was simply a straight drop off. He sat down with his feet dangling off the edge. He noticed that the stones were arranged around a center circle, larger than the rest, and the circle contained markings, much resembling the runic circles of alchemy to represent the flows of energy. He wondered what they were for, but he didn't act on his curiosity. He just sat there waiting to see if Arryn would find him.
((BTW this is a plot device...))

Ruso The Liar
Oh, they were playing hide and seek? She always won at hide and seek, but they didn't know she was playing. Hmm... she decided to follow after Hunter, carefully watching him. It really was a surprise that no one had brought up the whole 'dragon' thing yet though. Before she knew it, Hunter was jumping down a flight of stairs to go faster. She moved quickly down the stairs, keeping track of the dragon while she ran down. She barely noticed where she went, but the door leading to where the runes glowed and the dragon was obvious. She pushed it open, and slid inside, curious. Magic runes? I think I've heard of this room before... but I can't remember from where... she looked around, confused and trying to figure out the room itself. Magic was everywhere, but so was the ominous feeling.

"Twenty nine, thirty!" Arryn uncovered her eyes and smiled as she looked around. She wondered where he would be. But she knew exactly what she would do. She closed her eyes and took a few deep breaths. Hunter could tap into her mind, then why couldn't she? The blond woman continued to try to tap in to her mind. Frustrated when she couldn't, she decided to try and place his location. That came fairly easy, and she pinpointed him in some weird hall. It took a while to get there, and more than once she fought the urge to turn and walk the other way. What was this place? Why would Hunter hide here? She became very frightened and glanced at the runes. Even they scared her. "Hunter?" she called softly.

((Arryn should accidentally walk into the center of the circle or at least into the runes, at which point she'd be drawn to the center by unknown magic... I'm not trying to push this plot forward or anything <.< >.> 0,0))
Hunter quickly jumped up and hid behind one of the pillars when he heard Arryn come in. Even if she had found him he wasn't going to let her know that, she was going to have to come get him! He quietly moved towards the stairs and began climbing up to more floors to the final level of the room. He moved slowly to one of the pillars and looked below to watch if Arryn would be able to find him. He had a wide grin on his face, completely unaware of the magic sealed in the room. He also saw Ruso, she seemed to know Hunter was there. She must have followed him. That's no fun! Maybe she gave his position away to Arryn.

"I'm gonna find you..." Arryn said, smirking a bit. She was! She knew he was in here, she could feel his neartbeat. But before she knew it, she walked to the center of the room. She didn't know why. Maybe it was just warmer there?

There was a sudden upsurge of energy from the circle as Arryn stepped inside and moved towards the center. It started with electricity surging from the runes to the outer circle before there was a wind that seemed to come from the itself. Hunter looked out again and looked on in horror, his eyes widened and he quickly ran down the stairs, not caring about being seen or stopped. A dark violet light shined from the lines that made the circle's borders and runes. It overpowered the weak blue flames and filled the room with its ominous light. The electricity seemed to be surging more and more with each passing second, as if it was building up for something. Hunter made it down stairs and leaped into the circle and forcefully shoved Arryn out just as the circle fully activated. The surging electricity stopped arcing and instead shot straight at Hunter, freezing him in the center. This went on for a very short period of time before stopping abruptly. There was silence once again. The light had faded and returned to its dark blue glow. The circle no longer resonated with energy and seemed almost faded from the stone but its presence could not be entirely erased. Hunter fell to his knees. He was sitting back against his feet, his arms limp at his sides and his head fallen into his chest. His hands rested against the stone, palms upturned and relaxed. He seemed to be smoking a bit from the heat, his clothes were charred and burned, looking like they were ready to fall apart but they held nonetheless. Hunter didn't move, not even a twitch, he simply sat there silently. A barrier suddenly formed around the circle, powerful magic radiated off of it. Once again a slight wind could be felt from the barrier but it did nothing but resonate and pulse with energy. Both parties in and out of the barrier could see clearly through it, although the image distorted at times. Hunter was the only one inside. But was this barrier meant to keep people out? Or to keep Hunter in? ((BTW this is along the lines of what I pictured, but for simplicity's sake it IS what the circle looks like th01.deviantart.net/fs71/PRE/i/2012/120/9/f/fma_oc_sonya_shinguki_alchemy_and_arcane_circle_by_captainrougefaye-d4y2wwx.jpg (too lazy to link) so yeah...))

The woman looked at the electricity that was gathering over her. What..? What was this? The aura was overwhelming, but she couldn't move. Arryn watched the electricity gather more, almost as if it were charging for something. Before it reveal what exactly it was charging for, someone knocked her out of the way. Yelping, Arryn tumbled away from the runes. She sat up, seeing Hunter behind some barrier. "Hunter!" she screamed, running to the barrier and struggling to go through it. She whimpered and looked at him through the barrier. Was he okay? Was he getting hurt?!

Hunter merely sat there still, and quiet. A few minutes passed in this silence with the barrier pulsating rhythmically. He finally lifted his head, his eyes closed as he tilted his head as far back as his neck would allow. His eyes suddenly opened but they were not Hunter's. The color was wrong, very wrong. He titled his head down and looked at Arryn trying to get through the barrier. His eyes were black as pitch as he stared directly at her. An iris and pupil began to form like flame igniting slowly on wood. They glowed like the flames they resembled and moved as such too. He stood slowly and looked around at Arryn and at Ruso, then to his own body. He spoke, his voice deep like the dragon's that once spoke to Arryn, but it was not the same. It seemed more sinister and fowl, and more strained. "Who do I owe the favor of releasing the seal?" He said eyes flicking back and forth between Ruso and Arryn.

Ruso The Liar
"Well, that would be her," Ruso pointed at Arryn. "However, if you intend on hurting us, I would like very much to know the name of our... converser? You seem like a nice guy and I'd hate to just attack without reason." Ruso was loose and calm, and leaned on Arryn. Her smile was something that those who had fought her before only knew as her 'battle mask'. Something she only showed when she was actually analyzing the enemy, trying to figure them out and destroy them if necessary. She was good actor, something she'd learned after years of loneliness and empty fields. "By the by, why would you need a seal anyway? You accidentally knock over someone's vase? I did that once, and it sucked to be sealed up for a few years."
