Mika had fallen asleep last they took break so Rusty carried her gently. They arrived at Nemira and the Golem knelt by the gate, nudging Mika awake. Yawning, she sat up in her friend's arms and hopped down. "Owe you one, buddy."[/i] She said with a wink and a smile. She saw Cairo and, stretching her arms, strut on over. "So this is Nemira?" She saw a tower and her eyes became wide with girlish glee. "That's the college, Isn't it!?" What are we waiting for! Let's go!" Charlie on the other hand wasn't as thrilled. He was quite tired. But he turned his head to Bella as they came up to the gate and asked, "How's your ankle? Hold up through the trip?"

The brunette glared at the other brunette, a scowl crossing her features. Her ankle was feeling a bit better, but she didn't want him to know. A blush crossed her face in embarrassment. "Hmmm. I don't know. I think it's okay. Because you know, it was just twisted the other way around. Not that big of a deal, right?" Bella snarled at the freckle-faced man. "Freckle-butt." she sighed and looked at the college. She didn't like the college... it creeped her out. "Are we really going in there?"

Tara
The next natural place to go was Namira. Tara set forth immediately, taking care of bandits along the way, and arrived just as she heard familiar voices. She noticed Charlie and a bunch of others. She balled her fists and decided to go around. She didn't have time to deal with morons, she had to figure out about those mages. Not to mention check up on that strange dragon, which could be completely related. Unfortunately, she'd have to avoid these buffoons first.

"Patience Mika," Cairo said trying to calm her. "The mages are there all day and this college has been standing for many an era. We'll have plenty of time to sight-see and explore after we get the information we're after." He explained calmly. He turned to Talbot who seemed as foul as ever. "This is the capital city of Vardendale, called Nemira. That smell is probably the high density of elves and humans mixed into one city, you could also be smelling the old city stone. Or if your nose is more keen then you are quite literally smelling the magic from the college." Cairo conjectured. He turned out to the path and saw Tara walking to the city, she didn't look very pleased to see anyone. "Ah, Tara was it? Glad you decided to join us." He called to her.

"I was just making sure, prissy." Charlie said, with a grin. The tower loomed and he shrugged. "They're all the same, right? The colleges? Plus didn't you attend one? Most mages do." He wasn't so worried. Mages were friendly at colleges. But he'd never been to this one, so he didn't know. Not that there were many. "Why would a mage be creeped out by a building full of your like, anyways?"
Mika decided against waiting for the others to get on-board with her plans and started away. "Come on, now!" She called over her shoulder. If they didn't notice her moving, it would be hard to not notice Rusty doing so. The Golem strode behind the elven woman. He could see just over the roofs of low buildings and was enjoying the new city. Balefall was very different. Structures were often rounded and everything was stone, not wood. Nemira was the capital so there must be a Golem in the city. At the very least there would be one at the college's entrance. The giant Golem outside Sandris wasn't much for conversation and fairly dull, so Rusty didn't get many chances to talk to his own kind.

Bella snorted and looked at the tower. It was then that she remembered. How the men that wandered around the tower's base looked at her. How they called her names. That was why she didn't go to the college. "I never went to that stone prison. Stay and sit down, and look at a wall? Ha, no. I don't think so." she sighed, crossing her arms and narrowing her eyes. "Hmm. It looks almost mystic, really." she covered her mouth as she yawned. "If you were a mage, would you really let everyone know by going to the college? I don't think so."
"Wow..." Arryn breathed, looking up at the tower. She imagined all of the mages, studying their art. She overheard Bella begin to speak about the College, but she frowned. Why would she be offended about people calling her names? She was a mage! If she were her, she would have burnt them to a crisp. She looked to the side as Moongazer chirped and spread his wings, stretching them a bit. She wondered if mages could turn into animals. "I can't imagine how many mages are in there!" she cried, smiling a bit. "Studying all of that cool elemental stuff!"

Tara
With a glare at Cairo, Tara moved to the group. "No. It was a stupid coincidence that I showed up here, and leave me alone. I've got business with the college." she turned to leave, but others joined the group. After a minute, she shook her head and followed along. If the mages attacked or the dragons reared its ugly head, then at least she'd have cannon fodder to hide behind, and besides, she'd always wanted to scientifically study Golems anyway. She'd heard about them, but she'd never seen one. They were life automatons, but apparently they thought and functioned all on their own.

Hunter smiled watching Arryn look so alive, it made him happy to see her filled with such joy. "You're having fun already aren't you?" He said chuckling a bit, a big grin on his face. He saw Mika rush ahead, anxious to get inside, he understood her haste. He grabbed onto Arryn's hand and walked ahead a bit. "Come on! Let's get inside!" He said pulling her forward gently, trying to get her to speed up and run with him to the entrance. Cairo, meanwhile, sat back and sighed. "I guess there's no helping it. Alright everyone let's go!" He called to the group to get them to follow. He followed closely behind Mika, who may have been a little TOO enthusiastic about being here. "Remember, business first and then play." He said joking with her a little.

"When you put it like that it sounds like it sucks. But if you didn't go to one ofthe colleges, where'd you learn magic?" Charlie asked. He didn't know that much about it all. He wasn't magically gifted so he never gave it a thought. To him, they were parlor tricks. Some helpful, but still. He could get by without it. Some people just hated them and he knew some from the Barren did but he just wanted to get away from the foresaken land.
Mika made it to the entrance of the college and smiled at the guards, among them, a stone Golem. Mika trotted through the entrance, stones cold on her feet, and looked around in wonder. "It's so different! I love it so much already!" Rusty didn't move on. He greeted the fellow Golem with a firm handshake. The stone was taller than Rusty, by at least six feet, but they seemed to be having a chat in total silence. Rusty even seemed to laugh at something or other. He felt free to joke and jib at organics since few understood how their kind communicated, and neither of their creators were present.

"Shut the fuck up. You ask too many questions for a boy." Bella scowled once more and marched into the college, looking up at the guards. But even then Bella became edgy. She didn't like being near the guards or being in the walls of the college. Her eyes became wide and her brows arched as she shrunk to a corner. She... didn't have good memories in the college. In fact, the little time she was there she had only suffered. That was why Bella taught herself magic by reading from books and tomes. She hoped that no one would ask her what was wrong. Because she knew that one of these people would care too much to keep their nose out from her business. And, knowing her luck, she was going to be approached by Freckle-Butt.
Arryn laughed when Hunter took her hand and ran to the college. Wow! It was so huge and decorated! "I wish I could learn magic! But my dad says mages are born and not made. But I heard there are normal people learning magic as well!" she chirped, a grin plastered onto her face. She let go of Hunter's hand and hooked arms with him. Her gray eyes flicked back and forth. Some of the students were out, and all of them looked so different. Some were elves, others were humans... "Hey, hey! We should totally play hide and seek here when we're done! Who wants to play hide and seek?" this was Arryn's happy and childish side. Maybe it was because the excitement from Hunter was flowing into her as well?
Vulstrunronaaz stepped into the college as well, quirking an eyebrow at the stonework. Well, he could destroy this place in an instant. What was with humans and their buildings? They usually made it very fragile outside and very decorated inside. Running a hand through his unruly hair, he frowned. He wished that he could be flying around. But the thought of hunting down that dragon- who was obviously a threat to his kingdom -would put him at ease. "Why are we here, exactly?" he asked, eyes flicking over to everyone. He frowned at the angel and then at Mika, and the golems as well. They were known for taking down dragons, so they put him on edge. Oh well. Maybe he could find a woman or man to eat. Or maybe he should wait until they camped? Humans were so much easier to eat when he was in a dragon form anyway. His pointed teeth could crunch them up. Yet his flat, human teeth made it difficult to eat anything he usually liked to eat.
