Copying a language? Was that what it was? Arryn gazed at the boy, curiousity on her face. Was he some sort of mage with magic and all of that? She didn't think mages were allowed to do that to do people out of the blue... Maybe that was why the anti mage group were hunting them all down? Suddenly, the boy reached out and asked if she wanted to know how he felt. At first, she doubted. How would he show her...? But curiousity got the best of her and she took his hand. The curious face was still plain on her features.

As she took his hand he allowed her to feel what he felt for a long time. He never understood the concept of being alone until he met Arryn, but when he did the overwhelming feelings and realization that he had been alone his whole life and never had anyone to care for him or to care for himself. He showed her how everyday was more or less just a struggle to survive another day. Before he pulled his had away he accidentally showed her into his mind, the part of his mind that had been lost to him his whole life. He didn't reveal much, but the strongest feeling in there was an incredible guilt and sadness from the loss of someone dear, the self-loathing and hatred and the barriers put up to hide all of that from his conscious mind. He let his hand hang and looked at Arryn. "That's what I started to feel after meeting you. I never knew that I was alone until I had company that didn't immediately try to get rid of me or kill me. I'm sorry for trying to steal from you, all I wanted was food." He said.

The feelings overwhelmed her, and as soon as he pulled his hand away, Arryn jerked her hand back as well. Her steely gaze flicked to his face. They were feelings that she hadn't felt before. More so the guilt. When the boy said that he just wanted some food, she held up a hand. Leaving the room she ran downstairs and to the food pantry. It was there that she stole a bunch of smoked fish that was left over from last night and some bread. Just as quick as she went downstairs, she darted back up. Arryn set the plate on the floor and looked at the boy. "Here. Food." She told him. "For you."

Hunter let himself off the window with a look of confusion on his face as Arryn rushed out of the room. A wide smile spread across his face when she returned with food and said it was for him. He didn't say thanks but his face showed all the gratItude he wanted to express. He sat down and began to eat. He looked up at Arryn as he ate and smiled before he held out some food for her to eat. "You eat too!" He exclaimed happily.
((Bed... feel like absolute death, Happy New Year guys!))

In North Thystys, a man walked swiftly through the streets. He was clothed in dark robes and his hood covered his face. He slipped through the crowds and took alleys to get to his destination as fast as he could. Once he arrived at the abandoned house he walked into what was once a living room, now a demonic den, and knelt in a circle that seemed to be awaiting him. He set a stone down and began a chant that every other member of the circle followed. They swayed and a handful glowed. And very suddenly, almost like lightning, the roof of the house exploded outwards and a blue light raised into the sky like a beacon. The walls soon followed and the house was no more. Cries and shrieks echoed through the city as innocents ran away from the explosion and carried children away from the beast that emerged from the rubble and smoke. It's snakelike neck twisted as it looked around, deciding where to begin it's rampage.
Mika saw the explosion from atop Rusty and said, "What was that!?" Rusty paused to look at it and got a bad feeling. He let that be known by a manufactured shiver, a motion he wouldn't make naturally but had developed in communication to organic creatures. "We should go check it out!" Mika decided as she slammed a fist into her palm, determined to have an adventure.

Thomas Hampton
When there was an explosion, Thomas was jerked out of his daze. When Mika decided that they'd be checking it out, he groaned and stood up on his own two feet, sending the warm gust away. "As much as I'd like to get to town soon and take my nap, I have to agree. We've already investigated suspicious dealings once today. What's the harm in doing it again?" Shrugging nonchalantly, the young man stretched and yawned. "I think Rusty should go towards whatever it is first. And Bella should stay back. She just got healed, after all. I don't want to bring her back from near death again."

Narrowing his eyes, he looked the woman up and down. "Alright. That sounds fine. And thank you kindly for the flowers." Taking some time to consider, he finally turned around and started into the inn. "Please come, ma'am. I believe it best for you to meet the queen before we set off. I shall pay for your quarters here before we set off tomorrow in the morning. I shall wait outside your chamber before we go. If you do not emerge, we shall go off without you. Does that sound fair?"

Rusty looked at Thomas and agreed silently. He picked Mika off his shoulder gently but she protested, "Hey! Don't leave me here and go on an adventure you big bolt!" He ignored her and wet anyways. He wouldn't die, but he didn't want to see Mika hurt. "You come back here, you overgrown nail!" She shouted, waving her fists in the air. He was out of sight fairly quick enough, being so tall. Mika kicked a tree but hopped around in pain holding her foot since she didn't sport shoes. "Big rusted screw!" She was angry and it was plain but that didn't stop her from picking up her pace. "Well we won't catch him by walking!"
Charlie spun around in his chair and was at a window in no time when he heard the explosion. That was in North Thystys, up the river. Oh that can't be good. Not at all. "Mariline! I'm leaving early! Don't worry about my pay tonight!" He wasn't exactly expecting to make a difference but he was heading up there tomorrow anyways, and if he could show up with any sense of speed he could maybe help out with relief. North Thystys was heavily populated and there were sure to be casualties. He ran to his own room and packed his things, returning to the front desk only for his weapons.

"No, it's okay. I don't like fish." Arryn told the boy, waving her hand. She hoped that he didn't like it. That meant that he would come over more. And she didn't want that. Sure, he was lonely, but he could find some sort of shelter...
[Just pretend that Bella followed.]

Ruso The Liar
"I'm meeting a queen? Is it true that she she blue hair? I don't think I'd want blue hair, it'd be a pain trying to matching it with everything else. It'd be all blue and awful looking too. I've met a queen before... but I'm pretty sure that doesn't count..." she rambled to herself before looking back at Alex, as though suddenly remembering he was there. "That sounds totally and completely fair! I usually just crash in a tree for the night, but free rooms? Sign me up!" silently, she had hoped to accompany them. If something fishy was going on, the Queen would need to see it, and she could just feel the inherent wrong-ness in the air. Something big was happening elsewhere. "So... what should I call you, because I'm fairly sure that you're putting up a cover and I don't wanna blow it by guessing which dragon you are. I know a lot of dragons, by the way."
Tara Soulquester
There was an explosion, and then yelling downstairs. Tara had half a mind to just leave them be, but then the explosion was seen in her window. A magic explosion was epic proportions. Her eyes grew big at the possibility, and she quickly packed up her exoskeleton, putting the legs into a bag and slipping on the gloves. The legs still had cloth in them, even after all that work, and would make more work than less if used. She was set to go in a moments, and dashed out. She nearly hit someone else who was running out. She slapped the key on the desk and started to leave before she realized that the desk clerk had also been running out. There's never enough time! I can never start something without an extra problem cropping up can I?

Charlie was nearly knocked over by a fleeing child but he realized that it was the guest from earlier. As he hooked his quiver to his shoulder strap, he raised an eyebrow. A dwarf? Here in Vardendale? They didn't come to South Thystys that often, right? No time. "Miss, I'm sure you're headed up river, as am I. If you'd care I would accompany you. This may not be a safe journey." He wanted to help but forthright he was a gentleman. He wasn't sure if he would be by his own vices but it was what he knew. He didn't know the bracers on her forearms were guns, nor that she likely knew how to fight.
Rusty began to sprint, branches snapping off and animals skittering away from the metal beast. Soon, he was in North Thystys. An organic would be exhausted from his pace. Maybe even the Slyphs which were the closest creatures to Golems. Once he was there he followed the destruction and sought out the source. He wasn't quite sure what he was seeing at first, but something in him told his that it was exactly what his kind were first made to fight. The floating pieces that formed sections of his body came together and sealed tightly. He climbed a building and took a crouching start and sprinted to the edge when he leapt to tackle the beast. It's wings caused him a bit of trouble but he eventually got onto it's back with a steady grip, and they're fight began. He figured he had twenty minutes before Mika appeared.
