[Don raised an eyebrow as he thought about what the man was saying. "You aren't talking about that woman, Maire, are you?" He asked, a bit anxious. "She ran straight into me during a theft!" He didn't know the standards they lived by but he knew that she'd botched the Hell out of that crime. Worse than when the Dragonborn botched his 'destiny'. He still maintained that she would've been caught anyways and he'd saved her from prison and probably death, seeing as the Dragons don't appreciate their 'slaves' fighting each other.

Mars chuckled at the man's obvious anxiety. His dark eyes sparked at him mischeviously and his calloused lips curled upwards. "Maire is a good woman. Smart, cunning, swift. Truly, she needs the practice with teaching people." he chuckled and clapped the mage's shoulder. And then he sat down and faced the Khajiit woman and placed a card down. Zarinara hissed and glowered up at him. Mars smiled and took the Septims that were piled in the corner of the table. "Go and drink with her. She's more comfortable down here than up there." Mars glanced up at him and smirked, pocketing the coins. "Her father was a Nightingale. She is of experienced blood. Her father showed her everything she knows. Go on!"

Don smirked. If we to be taught by anyone it might as well be the woman who got him here. He nodded to the two and walked towards Maire, sitting next to her. "So it seems as though you may be seeing me more often. That is, if you don't have a little conniption." He said, smirk now a smile. "Mars suggested you mentor me in the art of thievery, stealth and whatnot." He really wasn't practiced in any of these. His solution to situations was more often than not, minions and bluffing.

There was an annoying, grating sound over her shoulder. The voice wavered as the origin sat down next to her, bearing a smile on its face that made her blood boil. Maire snarled at him, at the man who had ruined her heist. He threw away her chance at a full belly and a deep sleep. Because of that old dragon, she could hardly steal anymore. Her brown eyes darted over to him and yet, her snarl did not fade. "Why in Oblivion Mars would make me do that, I don't know. But he should know that he has an idiot within his ranks, now. You're a simple mage, a man who wouldn't value the work of a thief." she told him bluntly, her eyes not moving from his. "Tell me, Don. Why should teach you? For some reason, I see you as a person that wouldn't know the difference between a bandit and a thief."
