My thought was Tear-aye.
Also, a city name for Morcrest,
Mulehen Cliffs (two up from Portsmouth) --Where the Natives live that go cliff diving. ~
Name for the Island just off of the coast Morcrest,
In'roe Island --Place where, after Cliff Diving, the natives must swim to. Sacred land. --Native Tribe is called The In'roe

So this is like a rite of passage?

Me thinks.
It could be that in order to please the 'Gods', young boys must show their courage, endurance, and will by jumping off of the cliff and swimming to the island, where a ritual is held. The Elders would all go by boat and preform the rituals with the young men.

Dagron's Tongue The river by Violetbeach. Named after the famous captain, said in legends to have brought the people of Balefall South from Northboro. The river is oddly warm due to pockets of lava below the surface.
Sandris Dot to the right of Granite Hallows. Sandris is a manufacturing city at it's heart. It turns raw materials into any number of good. Craftsman and architects of all trades can be found in Sandris. It also happens the intellectual center of Balefall, home to one of the most respected colleges mankind has built for mages, Kaajis (kah-jees) Institute.
Sandris River River that leads to Sandris.
I've decided Balefall had a flair for the big and glamorous. Also, everything is very compartmentalized.

What if we named one of the rivers Dragon's Tongue? Just a thought... like there could be a river that is especially warm due to little lava pockets... we don't have to, I just thought it would be cool.

I like it. I took the idea and melded it with Dagron it you don't mind. Since Dagron is an anagram for Dragon.
